Adapalene 0.1% Acne Treatment Gel

Differin Gel was the first prescription-strength retinoid to move over-the-counter, using 0.1% adapalene to speed up cell turnover and keep pores from clogging in the first place. Because it works on the earliest stages of acne formation, it takes six to eight weeks of consistent use before results show, and it isn't meant to clear an active breakout overnight. The rest of the formula is minimal, just a gel base with carbomer and propylene glycol to keep the retinoid stable and spreadable.
